My two favorite Web 2.0 sites are are youtube.com and and delicious.com. While I have viewed youtube.com on several occassions I just recently found great usage for it in my classroom within the last year. I use the site to teach everything from science to simply embedding it in presentations during falculty meetings. This site is loaded with music, short clips, and tutorials that can be used for a variety of things in and out of the classroom. Its very simple to use because all you have to do is type in the subject or phrase your looking for, and it pulls up millions of things from cartoons to real life situations.
I am very new to delicious.com and this semester I found it to be a great tool for me to look for material for my class. The entire time I was creating my bookmarks I was thinking "where has this been all my life?" This site saves you a lot of time researching for things over and over again. There have been so many instances where I have found a fabulous site to use for school or even just personally and I am never able to find it again once I'm finished using it.
Those are two of my favorite sites also. I didn't know much about Delicious until this class. I am glad to have found it though. Its a good site. I love youtube also. I use it a lot for searching scrapbooking ideas.This class has been very interesting.
